The baby fest continues at Videocraft with our third new arrival this year.
Lachie (Sydney Engineering) and his wife Lou have recently welcomed a gorgeous baby girl, Lily Isla, into their lives. Our congratulations and best wishes go to them both for producing such a precious bundle. Pretty sure this little lady will soon be a climber just like her mum and dad!
A new Videocraft crew member has arrived.
We congratulate Penny (Projects) and Luke who are over the moon after welcoming a healthy little boy into their lives last Saturday. He is still waiting to be named, after surprising us all by arriving three weeks early. Weighing in at 3.080 kg (6lb 8oz), this divine little man is Jeanette’s sixth grandchild and another welcome nephew for James. Needless to say, we are all very excited and wish Penny and Luke lots of happiness.
Baby Billy joins Videocraft!
Congratulations to Kim (purchasing) and her partner Ant who have welcomed little Billy into their family. Billy was born on 21st Feb weighing just over 7lbs 1oz and has settled in at home to lap up all the attention from his older siblings. We wish Kim an enjoyable maternity break to spend time with the gorgeous new addition to her family!
The Videocraft family has a new addition and new Aussies!
The Videocraft family has grown again – this time congratulations go to Marco (Melbourne Engineering Team) and his partner Valentina who have welcomed their stunning little Aussie princess, Noemi who arrived last week at a healthy 3.4 kg. Marco started with us for a two week trial after he emailed us seeking work after arriving from Italy on a working holiday and now four years later, they are both permanent residents looking forward to citizenship. Noemi has already met all her proud grandparents who have come from Italy to greet the first Aussie addition to their family - pretty sure she won’t be lacking love and attention!
Season's Greetings from Videocraft
It's getting a little more hairy at Vide-mo-craft!
It's November, some of the team looked pretty sharp when November 1st hit, some of them even removing beards that had been there for quite some time. The sight of fresh white skin, there was something going on. A few weeks on and we can see exactly what is happening... its competitive hair-growing at its best - and its even cooler when they are all doing it to raise awareness for men's issues So check out the Vide-mo-craft Team at the Movember Foundation website and check out the latest photos of some of our mo-gress below and we will be adding updates for the rest of the month. Please feel free to support the team or an individual of your choice! Videocraft moves to BIGGER and BETTER Offices
Videocraft today announced that they have moved their Melbourne head office and warehouse to a new location. According to Managing Director James Taylor this is one of the most significant moves the company has made. He said, “We decided to move late last year after consulting with some of our customers and as the company had expanded we had out grown the old premises. We looked around and found a new location at 148 Highbury Road, Burwood that was perfect and only 2 minutes from our previous building.” The new premises allowed Videocraft to consolidate space and upgrade facilities. Taylor continued, “148 Highbury Road is convenient for our clients and offers far better facilities. We have a bigger warehouse and a state of the art showroom with full cabling and fibre networks throughout. This means we can demonstrate more complex systems in fully working configurations, there is far more functionality in the showroom and we can replicate actual workflows to precise customer requirements.” The new Melbourne HQ also has a streamlined rentals division with faster equipment deliveries and pick-ups. Taylor added, “We completely refurbished and revamped the building. It feels new, crisp, clean and efficient. All our main areas of acquisition, live studio production, post production and distribution are well represented and clients can see now see demos taken to a much higher level of detail. There is a large dedicated area for camera and editing systems with full test facilities and also a new training room. The installation of cabling and the server areas are all of broadcast quality and in full display. We truly believe this is one of the best showrooms and demo areas in Australia and welcome all customers old and new to come and experience it.”
Videocraft Becomes Official Panasonic Australia Dealer
Furthering their expansion in the Australian broadcast market Videocraft has announced that it has become an official Panasonic Australia dealer. Videocraft Sales Director James Taylor said, “We have been in discussions with Panasonic for some time as it is an excellent forward thinking company with innovative products and undoubtedly a good fit for Videocraft. I presented Rob (Myers) with a business plan of how we could help take the brand forward and I am delighted to say we shared a very similar vision and thus our appointment was agreed.” Rob Myers, Panasonic National Sales Manager - Broadcast Business Systems Group added, “"I am very pleased that Videocraft is the newest member of our Panasonic Broadcast Dealer Network. We welcome Videocraft's commitment, experience and high level of customer service that have become so well regarded within the broadcast and production video industry. Their appointment brings additional depth to an already strong Panasonic Broadcast dealer network. The Videocraft offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra will strengthen our presence in these markets and will help us improve on the high level of service that our customers have come to expect from Panasonic." James Taylor concluded, “Our number one goal is to provide our customers with the best choice of products and the very best solutions. Along with our range of editing systems, adding Panasonic to our offering means our clients can enjoy exactly that. We already have several significant projects underway involving Panasonic products and more announcements will be made shortly.”
