The Sony ECM673 is phantom powered, which means it gets power from the camera it connects to, and does not use batteries. It has XLR connections, but does not have TRS (3.5mm Mini-jack)connects that connect to consumer DSLR cameras. We would recommend the Videomic Go or Videomic Pro if need to connect to a mini jack.
The Ninja2 can be used in conjunction with the SxS cards of the PMW200 to dual record and backup your footage. Alternatively, you can use the Ninja2 to record a higher quality signal in ProRes or DnX codecs and use the 50Mbs XDCAM codec recorded to the SxS cards as proxy files.
The Ninja2 would connect to the PMW200 via the HDMI output. However, this means that the HD-SDI output will become disabled.
The SBACUS30 Card Reader is backwards compatible, so can be powered by both a USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 connection.
