Details
The Sachtler Ace XL Tripod System with CF Legs & Ground-Level Spreader with 75mm bowl combines the Ace XL fluid head with carbon fiber legs and a ground spreader. Designed for digital cine-style cameras, the Ace XL supports rigs weighing up to 17.6 pounds. This system is suitable for larger DSLR and mirrorless MFT cameras, as well as pro-style cameras such as the Blackmagic URSA Mini, Canon C200/C300 Mk II, Sony FS7, and the Panasonic EVA1.
The Ace XL fluid head features eight steps of counterbalance and three steps of pan and tilt drag adjustment, plus a zero drag option for pan and tilt. Cameras are mounted using the slide-in balancing plate. With a sliding range of 4.1", this head can adapt to a variety of rig configurations. Additional features include a detachable right-side pan bar and an illuminated bubble level. With an integrated flat head base, the Ace XL can be used when shooting with a slider.

Ace XL Fluid Head Features

- Eight steps of counterbalance; three steps of pan and drag plus zero settings for disengaging the pan and tilt tension
- 75mm ball-based head has an integrated flat bottom useful for mounting to sliders, etc.
- Additional features include a four-inch sliding plate range, 1/4"-20 camera screw, right-side pan bar, and illuminated bubble level
