Exceptional Image Quality

The new 33MP Exmor RS CMOS sensor captures incredible detail and dynamic range. With 16 stops of latitude in RAW files, there's ample room for colour grading and post-production flexibility, even in complex lighting conditions.

Advanced Video Capabilities

Record oversampled 4K 60p video from 7K full-frame capture or shoot slow-motion 4K 120p from Super35. All-I, 10-bit and Log profiles ensure pro-grade formats are available. A full-size HDMI output and LUT import support precise monitoring on set.

AI Autofocus and Tracking

With the BIONZ XR2 processor, subject recognition covers humans, animals, birds, insects, vehicles and more. Real-time tracking, pose estimation and 60 AF calculations per second deliver sharp focus, even during high-speed bursts up to 30 fps.

Improved Stabilisation and LCD Design

Get up to 7.5 stops of stabilisation with the upgraded 5-axis IBIS system. The 4-axis articulating LCD, inherited from flagship models, allows flexible framing whether shooting handheld, on a rig or at awkward angles.
