The Tilta Camera Cage Lightweight Kit V2 (Black) is a modular rig for the Sony FX3 and FX30 cameras, offering full protection, accessory mounting, and power options. It includes a full cage, removable top plate, right-side grip, HDMI clamp, L-series battery-powered left-side handgrip with run/stop control, and mounting adapter.

Modular Camera Cage Design

The lightweight aluminium cage offers either full-body or half-cage protection, suitable for handheld or gimbal use. Its removable NATO top plate maintains compatibility with the Sony XLR top handle and third-party handles. The design preserves access to all camera controls.

Comprehensive Accessory Mounting

Mounting options include a top NATO rail, shoe mount, and multiple 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads with anti-twist pins. The integrated Arca-style base enables quick switching between tripod heads and gimbals. Strap slots are included for wrist or neck strap compatibility.

Left-Side Power Handle with Run/Stop Control

The advanced Type VI handgrip accepts Sony F570 batteries and connects via NATO rail with an adjustable rosette for ergonomic positioning. It includes an 8V USB-C and 12V output to power accessories and a run/stop trigger with supported Tilta cables for compatible cameras.

Enhanced Cable and Mounting Security

The cage secures the camera using three mounting points and includes a thumb-screw HDMI clamp to prevent accidental cable disconnection. This ensures safer operation during handheld or rigged setups.

Adapter and Cable Compatibility

Included is the Type VI adapter for mounting the handgrip to the cage, compatible with several Tiltaing wooden handles. The run/stop cable supports Sony a6, a7, and a9 series cameras, allowing control directly from the grip.
