The Aputure Light Storm LS 300X V-Mount LED Bi-Colour Light Kit is the first bi-coloured Bowens mount light fixture to be compatible with optical lens modifiers. By combining the latest optical colour blending technology with Aputure’s dual-colour LED chipset, the LS 300x can utilize the Fresnel 2X and Spotlight Mount to give you unprecedented flexibility from a single fixture. With a simple turn of a dial or press of a button, you can adjust the fixture’s white light CCT output between 2700K-6500K in just seconds. And utilizing the same robust lamp head and control box design as the 300d II, this light is built to handle any filmmaking challenge.

Featuring an adjustable colour temperature range from 2700K to 6500K, the Aputure 300X Light is well-suited for practical and creative film applications. The LS 300X incorporates a specially designed colour-blending optical element to create a single source out of its bi-colour chipset. To shape and control output further, it can be paired with lensed modifiers such as the Fresnel 2X or Spotlight Mount, as well as soft modifiers like the Light Dome II. When used with the Fresnel 2X, it is capable of outputting up to 56,000 lux at 1 meter.

With an expanded vari-white CCT range of 2700-6500K, the 300X can create light that is warmer than Tungsten and cooler than daylight, reducing the need to carry and manage extensive gels on set. Scoring 96+ for CRI and TLCI, 85 for tungsten SSI, and 74 for D55 SSI, it provides consistent rendering, streamlining workflow and simplifying setup. The 300X ships with 9 built-in effects, simulating a variety of dynamic lighting scenarios with the possibility of adding more with future firmware updates.

The 300X shares a similar lamp head and control box design with the 300d II. The control box is passively cooled and silent so it will not interfere with sound. You can choose from five common CCT presets or dial-in a custom temperature in 50K increments. It also features a 360-degree, adjustable handbrake locking yoke. Simplifying workflow, the 300X is compatible with DMX512 and the Bluetooth Mesh Sidus Link App. A durable carrying case is included for transport and protection
