  • I'd like to buy the Canon EF5012LU EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens. We use the Canon 70D - will this lens be compatible?

The Canon EF5012LU EF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens is compatible with the Canon 70d. However the 70D has an APS-C sized sensor which means there is a 1.6 crop factor on the angle of view of the lens. Basically the cropped sensor sees a narrower field of view. Important to note, the crop factor does not affect a lens’s focal length, nor does the crop factor affect the lens’s aperture.
