AJA GEN10 HD/SD/AES Sync Generator
The AJA GEN10 is a compact and affordable sync generator that provides stable reference signals for HD and SD video workflows. It supports multiple sync formats including tri-level sync for HD and colour black or 75% colour bars for SD. With seven outputs and AES tone or silence, it simplifies synchronising broadcast systems or multi-camera setups.
Versatile Sync Options
The GEN10 supports 1080p up to 30 fps (NTSC) and 25 fps (PAL), with HD tri-level sync ideal for high-definition video systems. SD outputs offer selectable colour black or 75% colour bar reference signals.
Independent Output Groups
Two independently controlled groups of three outputs each allow simultaneous HD and SD sync. This flexibility is ideal for mixed-format environments or installations with both legacy and modern equipment.
AES-11 Audio Reference
The seventh output is a dedicated AES-11 signal that can be configured to output silence or tone, providing reference audio for digital audio equipment.
System-Wide Synchronisation
All outputs are phase-aligned and driven from an internal master timebase, ensuring consistent timing across connected devices without needing an additional sync distribution amplifier.
Easy Setup and Power
External dip switches simplify configuration without software, and the unit runs on 5–18V DC, making it easy to power in various environments.
