The MagStor LTO9 FH Desktop Tape Drive 8G FC LTO-9 TAA is a full height tape drive in a desktop enclosure. LTO tape has a 30-year shelf life. Users can easily drag-and-drop files to and from an LTO tape with the peace of mind that LTFS is open source and you can access your files in the future with a variety of software. Traditional backups to tape are still commonplace with TAR software. MagStor LTO drives are compatible with most TAR backup systems that work with IBM-based tape drives.
