The Blackmagic Design Mini Converter Audio to SDI 2 embeds up to four channels of balanced analogue audio or eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio into your 3G/HD/SD-SDI video signal, supporting resolutions up to 1080p60. Connect your audio sources via four standard 6.35mm (quarter-inch) jacks, then route the combined signal to broadcast monitors, switchers, or recorders. Particularly useful for live production environments, the converter includes both a primary SDI input and a redundant backup input, so if your main cable fails during a shoot or broadcast, the backup automatically takes over without interruption.
