The ATEM Television Studio 4K8 includes a hardware streaming engine for live broadcasts in H.264 format with AAC audio, ready for platforms like YouTube. Internal recording is handled by the integrated 2TB M.2 NVMe drive, with options to record to external USB drives. Recordings are accessible via local Ethernet or Blackmagic Cloud for remote postproduction workflows.

Advanced Video Effects and Multiview

It features broadcast-grade video effects such as chroma keyers, DVE for picture-in-picture, and customizable transitions including dissolves, dips, and wipes. The 16-source multiview output lets you monitor all inputs, preview, and program feeds on a single SDI or HDMI monitor with tally indicators and audio meters.

Flexible Connectivity and Audio

Eight 3G-SDI inputs each have dedicated standards converters, allowing mixed video formats to be used simultaneously. Outputs include nine 3G-SDI program feeds, two aux outputs, and a multiview output. Audio can be routed across embedded channels and expanded with additional microphone converters via MADI for larger setups.
