The SmallRig Cage for Sony FX30 / FX3 is designed to protect the camera and provide accessory mounting points. The modular cage consists of a NATO rail and a U-shaped cage. The NATO rail is secured on the top via two 1/4"-20 screws and removed to allow installing the original XLR top handle; the U-shaped cage is fixed via 1/4"-20 screws on both sides and at the bottom to prevent twisting, with a cushion against scratches. 

 

At the battery door, there is a hinge arm that fits the camera curve for an improved grip experience for a little finger. A dedicated HDMI cable clamp protects interfaces to ensure stable signal transmission. Note: Please remove the top NATO rail before installing the original XLR handle.
