The Core SWX NANO-C98X 6600mAh Battery with PTAP+USB-C is a 98 Wh BP-A type battery for select Canon video cameras, built for longer shoots and more flexible rig power. Alongside camera use, it adds USB-C PD charging and power output, a 12 V D-Tap accessory port with SMBUS data support, a 4-LED power gauge, and compatibility with Canon OEM chargers.
USB-C PD for powering and charging
The USB-C port delivers up to 45 W of Power Delivery, so it can run or charge compatible devices such as laptops, phones and other mobile gear. It also supports charging the battery itself through the same port, which adds a more flexible charging option alongside standard camera battery workflows.
D-Tap accessory output with battery data
Alongside camera power, the battery includes an unregulated 12 to 16.8 V D-Tap port for accessories. This SMBUS-enabled output can pass battery data to compatible devices while supplying power, which is useful for more informed power management on set. The battery can also support simultaneous accessory powering while in use.
98 Wh capacity in a compact BP-A format
With a 98 Wh, 6600 mAh capacity, the NANO-C98X is built for longer shooting times than lower-capacity options in the same battery family. It uses the Canon BP-A form factor, making it suitable for select Canon video cameras while keeping the overall design compact enough for smaller camera setups.
