The DJI Avata 360 Fly More Combo with RC 2 redefines what's possible with FPV drone filming by combining two cameras in one compact body. Switch between a single-lens 4K60 sensor for dynamic, fast-paced FPV footage and a full 360° 8K60 HDR sensor that captures everything around you in a single flight. This dual-camera setup means professional videographers and everyday content creators alike can film once and extract multiple clips, reframe shots from any angle, and build complete productions without repeated takes. With intelligent subject tracking, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, and up to 23 minutes of flight time, the Avata 360 makes immersive aerial filming safer and more creative than ever.
Dual-Mode Cameras for Ultimate Flexibility
Seamlessly switch between a standard single-lens 4K60 camera and a 360° 8K60 HDR camera depending on what your shot demands. The single-lens camera delivers the dynamic, fast-paced FPV footage the Avata line is known for, while the 360° lens opens up entirely new creative possibilities for aerial filming. Both modes feature 1-inch equivalent sensors with HDR and large 2.4 μm pixels, ensuring your 360° footage captures realistic light and shadow separation with exceptional clarity.
The 360° camera records everything as the Avata 360 flies, intelligently removing the drone from the final footage. Fly once and extract clips from what was behind, beside, or in front of the drone. Reframe your main shot after landing, infinitely rotate and tilt the view mid-flight, or create effects like Asteroid or dolly zoom. Beyond 8K60 video, you can capture stunning 120MP 16K 360° photos, with the same reframing capability letting you save multiple still images from different angles, all from a single shot.
Intelligent Subject Tracking
ActiveTrack 360 and Spotlight bring professional-level subject tracking to the Avata 360, making cinematic shots accessible whether you're a beginner or seasoned pro. ActiveTrack 360 automatically selects the optimal tracking mode, such as Standard for maintaining steady distance and altitude, or Cycling for faster reactions during turns while keeping your subject perfectly framed.
Spotlight locks onto a subject with the Avata 360's nose facing them, keeping them centered as you execute pre-programmed movements like Circle or Dronie. Spotlight Free takes this further by locking onto your subject while giving you complete freedom to fly around it, letting you focus on complex maneuvers without worrying about keeping the camera centered on your target.
FPV Gimbal Mode
Add a natural roll effect to Spotlight Free, ActiveTrack 360, and manual flight with FPV Gimbal Mode. This feature creates an authentic FPV-style look that evokes a genuine sense of speed and immersion. If you prefer to keep your footage stabilised during capture, you can also apply this effect in post-production for maximum flexibility.
Rock-Solid Stabilisation
Achieving steady footage from a fast-paced FPV drone can be challenging, which is why DJI incorporates RockSteady and HorizonSteady stabilisation. RockSteady compensates for high speeds and windy conditions with pure stabilisation, available in both 360° and Single Lens modes. HorizonSteady takes it further by locking onto the horizon during horizontal rotation up to 360°, available exclusively in 360° mode to keep your footage perfectly level.
Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing for Safer Flying
The Avata 360 upgrades the previous generation's safety features with fully omnidirectional obstacle sensing using enhanced binocular vision sensors. Vision Assist provides a full-colour 1080p view from front, back, and side sensors, keeping you aware of your surroundings in real time. For night filming, forward-facing LiDAR works alongside omnidirectional obstacle sensing, even in 360 mode, helping you safely capture nightscapes. These advanced sensors complement the fully integrated propeller guards that have made the Avata line so dependable.
O4+ Transmission Technology
The O4+ transmission system delivers anti-interference capabilities designed to stream a clear and stable live feed from the Avata 360 in 1080p60 resolution from up to 20 kilometres away, ensuring reliable connectivity even in challenging environments.
DJI Fly and Studio Apps
Both the DJI Fly and Studio apps help you enhance your footage while effortlessly tracking people, vehicles, boats, and more with the Avata 360. Key capabilities include:
- GyroFrame: Move your phone within DJI Fly to find and lock in a specific camera angle, then export it with a single tap
- One-Tap Reframing: Both apps allow for quick addition of camera movement effects
- Multi-Platform Editing: DJI Studio provides professional tools for seamless workflow, while an optional plugin enables editing in Adobe Premiere
