Hollyland Pyro 5 Wireless Transceiving 5 Inch Monitor
The Hollyland Pyro 5 Wireless Transceiving Monitor is a 5.5" touchscreen unit that functions as both a transmitter and receiver, enabling high-quality wireless video monitoring up to 400 metres away. It features HDMI/SDI input and output, proxy recording, RTMP streaming, and a bright 1500 cd/m² display, making it a versatile tool for live production, on-set monitoring, and collaborative workflows.
Broadcast & Multi-Device Use
One transmitter can connect to up to four receivers with stable line-of-sight signals. When not in broadcast mode, the Pyro 5 supports up to two receivers and two mobile devices, allowing flexible setups for different crews.
Clear, Bright Display
The 5.5" monitor provides 1500 cd/m² brightness, ensuring visibility in bright sunlight or dim environments. Adjustable brightness allows comfortable monitoring in any condition.
Flexible I/O & Roles
The Pyro 5 can operate as either a transmitter or receiver. In transmitter mode it provides HDMI and SDI inputs plus HDMI loop output. In receiver mode it delivers clean HDMI output.
Stable Wireless Transmission
With dual-band 2.4/5 GHz technology, the unit transmits up to 400 metres line of sight with as little as 60 ms latency. HD Mode provides stable 12 Mb/s video, while Smooth Mode prioritises ultra-low latency for live use.
Smart Frequency Management
Auto Dual-Band Hopping and Auto Frequency Hopping automatically select the best channels, minimising interference and congestion. Manual channel scanning with signal indicators is also available.
Efficient On-Set Recording
Proxy files can be recorded directly to SD cards or USB drives, including timecode for easier syncing. Extended MP4 recording and LUT support streamline editing and colour workflows.
Built-In Streaming
The Pyro 5 supports RTMP streaming to platforms such as YouTube Live, Zoom, Twitch, and TikTok Live, allowing direct live broadcast without extra hardware.
