Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 Cinema Camera (Fujifilm G, Arri PL)

The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA 55 is a large-format cinema camera built for high-end video production, offering a native 4:3 sensor, internal ProRes recording, real-time anamorphic monitoring, and compatibility with both Fujifilm G and ARRI PL lenses. It delivers 102MP visuals, custom LUT support, and rich colour reproduction for professional workflows.

The GFX ETERNA 55 features a 43.8 x 32.9 mm sensor, approximately 1.7× larger than full frame. It supports five main recording formats: GF, Premista, 35mm, anamorphic, and Super 35. Open Gate 3.8K 4:3 is available up to 48 fps, while Super 35 options go up to 6.3K24. Anamorphic support includes real-time de-squeeze and multiple crop options, ideal for narrative and commercial work.

Capture footage using Apple ProRes 422 HQ/422/LT, H.265 (10-bit 4:2:2), or proxy formats. HDMI output supports 10-bit uncompressed and 12-bit RAW. This flexibility ensures smooth post workflows and broad NLE compatibility. Frame.io integration allows direct cloud upload for remote collaboration.

Users can create and store up to three custom frame guides with selectable aspect ratios (1:1 to 2.39:1), scaling, line width, and colour. Dual 3-inch side LCDs with 700 cd/m² brightness enable operator and A.C. control. The main 5-inch LCD reaches 2000 cd/m² for daylight visibility.

Native Fujifilm G-mount supports autofocus and motorised iris via the new 32-90mm PZ lens. An included ARRI PL mount adapter allows use of professional cine lenses and supports Cooke /i metadata for VFX and post pipelines.

The built-in ND filter offers seamless adjustments from ND 0.6 to 2.1 in 0.015-stop increments. Dual base ISOs at 800 and 3200 deliver clean results across lighting conditions, maximising the large sensor's dynamic range and colour depth.

Choose from 20 Fujifilm film simulations including ETERNA/Cinema, Velvia, and ACROS. Up to 16 custom 3D LUTs can be loaded for monitoring and matching post-production looks. F-Log2 and F-Log2 C offer 14+ stops of dynamic range for colour grading.
