The interface includes indexed single-page menu tabs for easy navigation and quick access to camera functions.

Comprehensive Camera Control

This controller provides tactile operation through a precision pan/tilt joystick, zoom rocker, focus dial, 7 knobs, and 12 programmable buttons. It supports Canon’s autofocus, auto-tracking, auto loop, and crop control features, allowing detailed management of camera movements and settings. Preset positions and trace routes are visually represented with thumbnails for efficient recall.

Connectivity and Power Options

The RC-IP300 connects via IP and supports control of up to 200 Canon PTZ cameras. It offers RS-422 serial communication and compatibility with Canon XC and NU protocols. Power can be supplied through Power over Ethernet (PoE) or the included AC adapter, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter.

Standalone Operation and Setup

This controller allows one-person operation of up to 100 cameras without the need for a PC. Cameras can be searched, configured, and registered directly from the device, streamlining setup in complex multi-camera environments such as studios, lectures, and live events.
