Microphone input and gain

A 3-pin XLR input supports dynamic and condenser microphones, with 48 V phantom power available for condenser models. The dock provides up to 80 dB of ultralow-noise gain, while Clipguard 2.0 multilayered signal protection helps reduce clipping and distortion when levels rise unexpectedly.

Real-time voice processing

The built-in Wave FX processor provides real-time DSP voice shaping, allowing effects to be applied directly to the microphone signal. VST insert support also lets compatible plug-ins be used without relying on virtual audio routing, which can simplify a live streaming or recording workflow.

Headphone monitoring and software control

A 3.5 mm stereo headphone output provides zero-latency monitoring while recording or broadcasting. The XLR Dock MK2 works with Elgato Wave Link on macOS and Windows, giving access to microphone levels, mixes, effects and recording controls.
