The Laowa Ranger 16-30mm T2.9 Cine Zoom Lens is a full-frame wide zoom for PL or EF mount cameras, delivering consistent image quality across its 16 to 30mm range. Its parfocal design maintains focus while zooming, with a T2.9 to T22 aperture, 11 aperture blades, and minimal focus breathing, making it suitable for both wide establishing shots and close-ups with smooth background separation.
Optical Performance
The lens uses an 18-element, 12-group design to provide sharp results across the frame. With 11 aperture blades, it produces smooth, circular bokeh that enhances subject isolation. The wide T2.9 aperture supports shooting in lower light and offers creative control over depth of field.
