NiSi Cinema 4x5.65' Inch Allure Mist Black Filter (1/2 Stop)

The NiSi Cinema 10.16 x 14.35 cm Allure Mist Black Filter (1/2 Stop) is designed for controlled diffusion in professional and everyday video production. It reduces the appearance of blemishes and wrinkles, softens highlights and lowers contrast, helping create a more flattering image while balancing the tonal relationship between highlights and shadows. This makes it useful when you want to shape the image without relying on post-production.

Optical glass and coating

The filter uses 4 mm-thick optical glass for clear image transmission. Hydrophobic coatings on both glass surfaces help water bead on contact, making the filter easier to clean in damp or wet conditions.

Filter holder compatibility

This rectangular filter is compatible with cinema filter holders designed to accommodate 4 mm-thick filters. Check your holder specifications before use to confirm the required thickness and format.

Available grades

The 1/2 grade provides a moderate diffusion effect. Allure Mist Black filters are also available in 1/8, 1/4 and 1 grades, with the effect becoming approximately twice as strong with each increase in grade.

Storage and transport

A padded vinyl pouch is included to help protect the filter during storage and transport.
