The Sennheiser Profile Wireless 1-Person Clip-On Microphone System is designed for solo creators needing reliable, professional audio on the move. It features a compact clip-on transmitter with 32-bit float backup recording, a dual-channel receiver with multiple output modes, and up to 7 hours of battery life. The system is expandable and includes all necessary adapters for cameras and mobile devices.

Advanced Clip-On Transmitter with Backup Recording

The lightweight clip-on transmitter features an integrated clip and a threaded socket for mounting on stands or desktops. Its built-in omnidirectional microphone captures audio evenly from all directions, ensuring consistent sound even if the subject moves. It includes 16GB of internal memory capable of storing up to 30 hours of 32-bit float / 48 kHz backup recordings. This backup recording prevents digital clipping and allows low-level audio to be normalised without introducing noise. Backup can start manually or automatically if the wireless signal weakens. A lockable 3.5mm input jack supports optional lavalier microphones, and a furry windscreen is included to reduce wind noise.

Compact Dual-Channel Receiver with Flexible Outputs

The receiver is ultracompact and mounts on DSLR or mirrorless cameras via the included adapter, or connects to mobile devices and laptops using USB-C and Lightning adapters. It offers both analog 3.5mm and 24-bit / 48 kHz digital outputs. A second 3.5mm jack allows headphone monitoring. Three output modes are available: stereo mode for one mic with expansion potential, mono mode for summed audio, and safety channel mode which provides a full-level signal alongside a lower-level backup to prevent clipping. The receiver’s OLED touchscreen displays audio levels and battery status, auto-rotating for easy viewing, and allows remote control of mic gain, low-cut filtering, mute, and internal recording without touching the transmitter.

Expandable System and Included Accessories

The system includes rechargeable batteries providing up to seven hours of runtime per component. Accessories such as a cold shoe adapter, USB-C and Lightning connectors, clothing magnet, mic clip, and carrying pouch are supplied for easy integration and transport. Adding a second transmitter and charging bar (sold separately) converts the system into a two-mic setup with handheld and desktop options. All components and accessories fit neatly into the carrying pouch for convenient storage and travel.
