The SmallRig 2187C Wooden Side Handle with NATO Clamp is a compact, ergonomic grip designed to attach to camera cages via NATO rails. It offers refined top mounting points, improved compatibility with DJI microphones, and a repositioned wrench slot for easier accessory changes, all while reducing weight compared to the previous version.
Improved Mounting Options
The 2187C features two 1/4" threaded holes and a 1/4" locating hole on top, allowing secure attachment of monitors, arms, or other accessories. The cold shoe is now compatible with DJI microphones, expanding your audio setup options.
Streamlined and Lighter Design
Compared to the 2187B, the updated connector design is more compact and aesthetically refined, reducing bulk without compromising strength. The total weight is just 195 grams, making it ideal for handheld setups where every gram counts.
Quick Access Wrench Slot
Unlike the previous version where the wrench was placed on top and could interfere with mounted gear, the 2187C relocates the wrench slot to the bottom of the handle. This improves workflow by giving you easier access during rig adjustments.
