Sony FE 8-14mm f/3.5 Fisheye G Zoom Lens
The Sony FE 8-14mm f/3.5 Fisheye G Zoom Lens is a full-frame E-mount zoom for stills, video and VR capture. Its 8 to 14mm range shifts from a circular fisheye view to a diagonal fisheye perspective, with a 180° angle of view, constant f/3.5 aperture and close focusing to 15cm. Fast autofocus, independent control rings and a dust- and moisture-resistant design support demanding field work.
Optical construction
The 16-element, 13-group optical design includes three aspherical elements, four ED elements and one ED aspherical element. These elements help maintain high resolution while reducing chromatic and spherical aberrations across the zoom range. A seven-blade circular aperture contributes smooth rendering and rounded highlights.
Video and manual control
Linear Response Manual Focus provides predictable control for precise focus pulls. The aperture click switch allows 1/3-stop adjustments for stills or smooth, click-free operation for video, while the AF/MF/FH switch includes a Focus Hold setting for locking focus during astrophotography and VR capture.
Field-ready design
The lens features dust- and moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating on the front element to help repel contaminants. Its rear filter holder accepts sheet filters and includes a cutting template for creating custom-sized filters. Measuring approximately 6.4 x 8.4 cm and weighing 315 g, it is suited to handheld shooting and mobile setups.
