It uses a self-organising mesh network with auto regrouping, offers up to 500 m range with 45 ms latency, and adds AI noise cancellation, app-based group control, 3.5 mm monitoring and replaceable batteries rated for up to 12 hours.

Host-free mesh communication

Each headset works as an independent node, so there is no master unit, pairing process or channel setup to deal with. Power the system on and it automatically forms a self-organising mesh network that can re-link and self-heal as users move, disconnect or rejoin. It supports up to 8 users on its own, making it well suited to productions that need fast setup and reliable full-duplex team communication without a base station.

Wireless range and stable low-latency performance

The dual-band, dual-antenna design helps maintain communication in busy RF environments by switching bands if interference affects one of them. Synco rates the system for up to 500 m range with 45 ms latency, which helps conversations feel immediate during live production, event work and on-set coordination. ENC 2.0 AI noise cancellation also reduces background noise by up to 40 dB to keep speech clearer in loud locations.

Grouping, app control and priority talk

The system supports smart A/B grouping and can be managed through the SYNCO Audio app on iOS and Android. Teams can switch between Group A, Group B or All-Call, while the app also allows one-to-one private conversations, group creation, battery and device monitoring, headset location and firmware updates. For situations where instructions need to cut through immediately, Push-to-Talk priority mode mutes other connected units so the active speaker can be heard clearly.

Expansion, monitoring and day-long use

For larger setups, the system can expand to up to 40 users across 20 channels when linked with compatible base stations, and the optional XStation base station adds USB-C UAC connectivity for computer-based remote communication such as Zoom. The headsets also include a 3.5 mm monitoring input for listening to camera or recorder audio while staying on comms. A lightweight dual-ear design and replaceable 1050 mAh battery with up to 12 hours of runtime make the system practical for long shooting days.
