The Pelican Air 1646 Case without Foam in Black protects sensitive gear during transport. The Air 1646 comes lined but without foam or other inserts, allowing you the freedom to completely customize the roomy interior to your specific needs and gear. Carry your case using one of the three over-moulded handles or if it's too heavy, extend the pull handle and tow it behind you on its two low-profile, quiet-running wheels.

- Comes with a liner but no insert to allow you the freedom to build your own custom storage and organization solution

Construction
- Proprietary HPX² polypropylene polymer is lightweight but strong and durable
- Broad -60 to 160°F temperature range
- Business card holder to make identification faster and easier
- Automatic pressurization valve keeps water and dust out while balancing air pressure to make opening the case easy after traveling in unpressured cargo holds
Carrying & Locking
- Locking:
- Five Press and Pull latches—three on the long front side and one on each end—resist accidental opening when dropped or handled roughly
- Two 5/16" (8mm) diameter steel-reinforced padlock holes for added security
