The Elgato Game Capture 4K Pro is a PCIe 2.0 x4 capture card for Windows gaming PCs, designed to bring console, handheld and PC gameplay into a professional streaming or recording workflow. It supports HDMI 2.1 sources, captures up to 4K at 60 fps, and includes an 8K-capable HDMI cable. 8K at 60 fps passthrough lets you play on a compatible display while the card captures your feed. HDR10 and variable refresh rate support help maintain image quality and reduce screen tearing or stuttering, while ultralow-latency technology keeps the game preview closely in sync with your gameplay. The card can also capture high-frame-rate footage up to 240 fps.

Stream, record and monitor in multiple apps

Game Capture 4K Pro can send its video feed to multiple applications at once. This allows you to record gameplay locally while streaming through OBS Studio, or use the same source in Zoom for calls, presentations or production workflows. It is suited to creators who need a single capture source available across more than one app.

Recording and editing workflow tools

The Windows-only 4K Capture Utility supports high-fidelity recording alongside livestreaming, helping preserve a higher-quality master file for later use. Recordings can be organised with tools such as Smart Folders, while audio and video can be exported separately as AAF files for editing workflows in software including Adobe Premiere and Vegas Pro.
