The Insta360 Mic Pro Wireless System (1 TX with 1 RX) is a compact 2.4 GHz wireless audio setup designed for solo creators and vloggers. It features a coin-shaped transmitter with a customizable E-Ink display, a camera-mount receiver with touchscreen controls, and 32-bit float internal recording. The system supports multiple pickup modes, AI noise cancelling, and up to 400 metres transmission range for clear, professional audio capture.
Transmitter with 32-Bit Onboard Recording
The coin-shaped transmitter records 32-bit float audio directly to its 32GB internal storage, capturing high dynamic range sound. It features an AI-powered noise cancelling chip, auto gain control, and a low-cut filter to ensure clear audio quality. Files can be exported easily via USB-C connection to computers or mobile devices.
Receiver with Onboard Controls and Connectivity
The camera-mount receiver includes a touchscreen display and dial for straightforward control of recording settings. It offers a 3.5mm TRS output for connection to cameras and recorders, and a USB-C adapter for direct connection to laptops or mobile devices. The receiver supports up to two audio channels natively, expandable to four with optional accessories and modes.
Multi-Cam and Multi-Person Recording Modes
The system supports Multi-Person mode, allowing up to four transmitters to connect to one receiver for independent audio tracks. Multi-Cam mode pairs up to four receivers to a single transmitter for synced audio capture, compatible with select Sony cameras using an additional adapter. Timecode sync is also supported to streamline postproduction workflows.
3-Mic Array and Directional Pickup Modes
The transmitter’s 3-microphone array offers three selectable pickup patterns: supercardioid for solo streams and voiceovers, figure-8 for interviews or two-person conversations, and omnidirectional for general use. It can also connect to a lavalier microphone via a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter for more professional setups.
