Its aspherical optical lens rotates 90 degrees for versatile projection, while cutting shutters and an optional iris allow detailed light manipulation.

Optical Performance and Light Shaping

The Nanlux NL Mount Projection Attachment features an aspherical optical lens with an anti-reflective coating that enhances light transmittance and provides 78% uniformity in the beam. This design reduces chromatic aberrations and distortion, resulting in accurate colour temperature and a well-controlled beam. The 90° rotatable lens barrel allows for easy adjustment of the beam angle without moving shutters or gobos. Cutting shutters offer precise light shaping, while an optional 18-blade iris enables the creation of a smooth, circular beam shape.

Zoom and Mounting Features

The attachment offers a convenient 15-30° zoom range, controlled by a smooth zoom ring for precise focus adjustment without repositioning the light. It uses Nanlux's proprietary NL mount for secure attachment to Evoke series lights, and is compatible with third-party barrels and lenses, expanding its versatility. An integrated yoke with handles ensures quick and stable setup, with a 15° offset design to maintain balance and prevent shifts in projection angle.

Build Quality and Portability

Constructed from durable aluminium alloy with nylon-coated housing, the attachment is designed for heat resistance and passive cooling, which is beneficial for on-set audio recording. It comes with a robust flight case that stores the attachment and all accessories safely, making it easy to transport and protect during travel.
