Panasonic AW-HE145 HDMI/3G-SDI/IP HD Integrated PTZ Camera (White)

The Panasonic AW-HE145 HDMI/3G-SDI/IP HD Integrated PTZ Camera (White) is a professional PTZ camera for conference rooms, houses of worship, education spaces and other remote production environments. It is built for fixed-location video workflows where operators need dependable image capture, flexible system integration and consistent framing. The white finish and included mounting plate suit tidy permanent installations.

Image quality and zoom

The 1-inch MOS sensor captures video up to UHD 4K at 30 fps, with 1080p recording and output available at up to 60 fps. HDR helps retain detail in backlit scenes, while the 20x optical zoom lens provides a 35mm equivalent focal range of 24.5 to 490mm. HD shooting can extend the zoom to 32x with iZoom, with a 10x digital zoom also available. Night Mode, a four-stage ND filter and a 75.1° angle of view support a range of lighting and framing conditions.

Video outputs and streaming

Video can be sent through HDMI, 3G-SDI or the RJ45 network connection for integration with live production systems. IP streaming supports H.264, H.265 and MJPEG compression, along with RTMP, RTMPS, RTSP and SRT protocols. SRT is suited to secure transmission across less stable networks. An optional NDI|HX licence enables low-bandwidth NDI video transmission, while FreeD support is available for virtual production workflows.

PTZ control and automation

The camera offers a 175° pan range and a tilt range from -30° to 90°. Control is available through an IP browser from a computer, smartphone or tablet, or through RS-422 serial connections. It is compatible with Panasonic controllers including the AW-RP150, AW-RP60, AK-HRP1000GJ, AK-HRP1015GJ and AK-HRP250GJ. Genlock input supports synchronised multi-camera systems, while compatible PTZ Control Center and optional Auto Tracking software can simplify camera operation.

Audio and power

A 3.5mm stereo mini-jack accepts mic or line-level audio, which can be embedded and encoded with the video signal and sent over IP. AAC-LC audio compression is supported. The camera can be powered through the network using Power over Ethernet, providing a single-cable connection for video, audio, control and power, or through 12V DC via its 4-pin XLR input. The separately sold power supply is required when using direct DC power. The camera weighs 4.1kg and measures 215mm wide, 270mm high and 220mm deep.
