Pyro 7 Ultra 7-Inch Wireless Transceiving Monitor

The Hollyland Pyro 7 Ultra 7-Inch Wireless Transceiving Monitor combines a 17.8 cm 1500 cd/m² QD-LCD touchscreen with wireless video transmission up to 1 km. Switch between transmitter and receiver modes, work with HDMI and 3G-SDI connections, send feeds to multiple receivers or apps, and use built-in monitoring, recording, streaming and camera control tools on set.

Long-range wireless workflow

Use the Pyro 7 Ultra as either a transmitter or receiver for wireless video monitoring at distances up to 1 km line of sight. Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz transmission with automatic channel hopping helps maintain a stable feed in busy RF environments, with latency as low as 20 ms in focus-pulling mode. A transmitter can send to two mobile apps and four receivers, while Broadcast mode supports an unlimited number of receivers.

Bright, accurate on-camera display

The 7-inch 1920 x 1080 QD-LCD touchscreen delivers 1500 cd/m² brightness for viewing outdoors or under strong production lighting. Colour accuracy rated at Delta E below 1.5 supports more dependable exposure and colour checks, while touch controls include gesture-based navigation and up to 4x zoom.

Flexible video connections

Switch between transmitter and receiver modes to suit the job. In transmitter mode, the monitor provides HDMI and 3G-SDI inputs plus HDMI and 3G-SDI loop outputs. Receiver mode includes HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs, along with a 3G-SDI loop output. It supports video signals up to UHD 4K through HDMI and 1080p via 3G-SDI.

Monitoring, recording and streaming tools

HollyOS provides professional monitoring tools including waveform, exposure tools, focus assist, dual-view monitoring and customisable F1 and F2 shortcuts. Record video to an SD card up to 2 TB, import custom LUTs and reference images, or use built-in RTMP streaming for compatible live platforms. The monitor also supports camera control for selected Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras, plus integration with Tilta focus systems.
