The Sony ECM-MS2 is a compact stereo electret condenser microphone built for professional camcorders with dual XLR inputs and phantom power. Compact and Travel-Friendly
Measuring only 137 mm long, the ECM-MS2 avoids blocking the lens when mounted to smaller camcorders like the PMW-100. Its size also makes it easy to transport in tight gear kits, ideal for location shoots.
Stereo or Mono Flexibility
The microphone outputs decoded L/R stereo audio but also supports mono use. Unplugging the right XLR disables phantom power on that channel, letting you pair it with a wireless mic on one input and natural ambience on the other.
