Host-free mesh networking

Each headset works as an independent node, so there is no master unit, pairing process, channel matching, or reset routine to deal with. Power the system on and it forms a self-organising mesh network automatically, then keeps adapting as users move, drop out, or rejoin. That self-healing design helps avoid a single point of failure and suits fast-moving productions where the comms setup needs to stay simple and reliable.

Range, latency and noise control

The dual-band, dual-antenna design operates across two frequency bands and can switch automatically if interference appears on one of them. Synco rates the system for up to 500 m range with 45 ms latency, which is useful for real-time full-duplex communication on larger sets or event sites. ENC 2.0 AI noise cancellation adds up to 40 dB of noise reduction to help speech cut through wind, crowd noise, and machinery.

Team management and expansion

The system supports up to 8 users on its own, and can scale to 40 users when linked with compatible base stations available separately. Through the SYNCO Audio app, you can manage up to 5 teams, switch between Group A, Group B, or All-Call, and set up one-to-one private conversations. The app also handles battery and device monitoring, locating misplaced units, and firmware updates, while an optional XStation base station adds USB-C UAC connectivity for remote collaboration through a computer.

Monitoring, comfort and battery design

The included dual-ear headsets are built to stay lightweight and comfortable for long sessions, with soft ear padding and an ergonomic fit suited to all-day wear. A 3.5 mm monitoring port lets users listen directly to camera or recorder audio without leaving the intercom conversation.
