DJI SDR Transmission 2 Wireless Video Transmitter Combo is a switchable TX/RX system for wireless camera monitoring on complex sets. It transmits DCI 4K/60fps 10-bit HDR H.265 video at up to 50 Mbps, with latency as low as 35 ms and range up to 4 km in controlled conditions. Auto Channel 2.0, multi-group support, SDI, HDMI and USB-C outputs, and DJI Ronin app tools support flexible professional workflows.
Multi-Group Wireless Transmission
A single transmitter can send a feed to up to eight receivers, with remote control available for connected users. For larger productions, the system supports up to five transmitters and 40 receivers operating across multiple groups. Auto Channel 2.0 scans the spectrum, identifies interference and coordinates frequency changes automatically when set to Auto mode. Pairing-free camera switching also lets crews change feeds without rebooting, rescanning or re-pairing units.
Flexible Mounting and Connections
Each 136 g transceiver can switch between transmitter and receiver mode, allowing the system to be configured around the requirements of each shoot. The Expansion Plate adds SDI, HDMI and four USB-C ports, with SDI metadata transmission supported for compatible cinema cameras. A protective Transceiver Cage provides mounting points and added protection for car rigs, outdoor setups, gimbals and other production equipment.
Professional Monitoring and Camera Control
Feeds can be sent to professional monitors over SDI, HDMI or DisplayPort, or viewed on a phone or tablet through the DJI Ronin app. The app includes LUT, histogram, waveform and false colour tools, as well as PTP camera control for adjusting aperture, shutter speed and ISO, starting and stopping recording, and triggering photos on supported cameras. It can also control compatible DJI RS series stabilisers with Force Mobile, a virtual joystick and gimbal recentering.
Power Options
The transceiver supports industry-standard NP-F batteries with an input range of 6.8 to 8.4 V. It can also run from a USB-C power source using a compatible PD charger, with support for 9 V or 15 V input at up to 3 A. Compatible DJI Ronin series gimbals can power the transceiver directly, reducing the need for a separate battery on supported camera rigs.
