Camera Cage Design and Mounting

The Tilta Camera Cage for the Sony FX5 is a lightweight, formfitting aluminium cage that provides full protection while maintaining access to all camera controls and ports. It features multiple mounting options including top and left-side NATO rails, a shoe mount, and anti-twist 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads. The detachable base plate includes an integrated Arca-type quick-release plate for easy mounting on tripods and gimbals, supporting both horizontal and vertical shooting orientations.

Adjustable Arca Receiver for Battery Mounting

The adjustable Arca receiver allows secure attachment of the Mini PD V-Mount battery plate without the need for traditional baseplates or rods. It can be mounted directly to the cage’s Arca-type plate or a DJI gimbal and extends up to 38 millimetres to fit batteries of varying widths. Multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes provide flexibility for adding other accessories.

Power Solutions with Mini PD V-Mount Battery Plate

The included Mini PD V-Mount battery plate supports powering the Sony FX5 and accessories via a high-capacity V-mount battery. It offers one 14.8 V D-Tap output, one 14.8 V 2-pin LEMO output, and a 60W USB-C Power Delivery output. The plate can be mounted on standard 15mm rods and has multiple threaded mounting points plus strap slots for secure attachment of the battery and included safety strap.

100W Right-Angle USB-C Power Cable

This 350 millimetre USB-C cable supports up to 100W of power delivery, suitable for high-power cameras and compact rigs. It features a right-angle USB-C connector to reduce strain and save space within tight setups. The cable’s durable and flexible construction is designed for reliable on-set use while helping to keep rigs organised and free from cable clutter.
