Modular Cage and Handles

The Tilta Camera Cage Pro Kit includes a formfitting full cage designed specifically for the Sony FX5. It features a lightweight aluminium construction with multiple mounting points, including top and side NATO rails, cold shoe mounts, and anti-twist threaded holes. The kit also includes a Xeno top handle and a Xeno side handle, both with NATO clamps and silicone grips for improved handheld stability and ergonomic handling.

Adjustable Baseplate with Arca-Type Compatibility

The kit comes with a height-adjustable 15mm LWS baseplate that supports standard 15mm rods. The baseplate allows height adjustment within a 20mm range to accommodate accessories such as follow focus systems or matte boxes. It features a bidirectional Arca-type quick release plate for easy mounting on tripods and gimbals, and can support camera rig loads up to approximately 4.5 kilograms.

Accessory Mounting and Cable Management

Accessory mounting options include multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, two NATO rails, and a cold shoe mount on the top handle. The cage also features built-in strap slots and a dedicated magnetic latch for securing the camera’s battery slot. An HDMI cable clamp is included to prevent accidental disconnection during shoots.
