Details
The Rode Broadcaster Condenser Microphone is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone that features a true full-range response especially suited for voice-over use.
It has an emphasized proximity effect and features an internal pop filter, designed to minimize plosives sounds that can overload the microphone capsule and distort the audio output. In addition to the native 20Hz-20kHz response, a selectable high-pass filter at 75Hz is available which will prevent low-end noise, such as air conditioners and traffic, from being recorded.
The microphone features a durable die-cast aluminium alloy body coated in a discrete matte black anti-glare finish. An innovative multi-layer mesh basket protects the microphone from environmental noise without the need for a bulky and distracting foam wind shield.
